Watkins Bradley LLP was formed in 2008 by former judicial law clerks from the Second Circuit and the Southern District of New York. Our firm strives to provide high-quality but very cost-effective appellate representation. We think our work is comparable – if not superior – to that provided by large law firms, but we can offer it at a much more affordable cost through our efficient cost structure.
Our experience reading hundreds of briefs and attending many oral arguments while clerking led us to believe that there was a dearth of high-quality appellate advocacy in the legal market, particularly for anyone who could not afford or did not want to pay large-firm fees. Our intimate understanding of the concerns of federal appeals courts allows us to tailor our arguments to address the issues of primary concern to appellate judges and offer the most persuasive arguments. Our streamlined practice allows us to offer our services at extremely competitive rates for the quality of work.
We are able to take on appeals in any federal appellate court and have partners licensed to practice in state courts in California, New York and Massachusetts.*
We are also able to conduct discrete research tasks or assist with the research and drafting of dispositive motions at the district court level.
We offer our services at a very competitive hourly rate and can be quite flexible in structuring alternative fee arrangements, including flat rate, capped fee, and hybrid contracts.
